Caleb had his first day of school this week. He really enjoys his school. Its wonderful too that we get in touch with so many other families when dropping Caleb off and get to know them more. The school also already had the first social event so the parents could connect even more. Its such a new and exciting season for all of us and we are excited for all the new relationships that will form! Thank you Jesus

It was also wonderful that we had friends from my hometown in Germany come for a short visit this week. Its always special seeing friends from my old home.

Over this last season I was walking along with someone on their journey in loving their neighbor. Through monthly meetups I was able to listen, give feedback, encourage and give advice. Its exciting to see how God is using him in his own community. If you know of people who would love to get more involved in their community by loving their neighbors but would love to learn more on how sent them our way! Just ask them to email us!

We hope you had a wonderful summer week!!

We got back refreshed from our trip. On Saturday we had the last class in our 6 part love your neighbor class. It was a wonderful time and it was really encouraging hearing the feedback from the different people that were part of it. We are excited to see what God will do with all of this in the future.

We also hope you’ve been inspired by CT Studd’s story. I encourage you to ask God for courage to share your faith with others. Ask God also where you don’t yet fully trust Him and are still holding on to things you should surrender to Him.

We hope you are having a wonderful summer!! Our family is visiting Pennsylvania to see our family, friends and supporters there. After that we are adding a vacation. So for the month of July there wont be weekly updates, but you will still get a weekly video to challenge and encourage you here on the blog!

We hope you have been inspired by Mary Slessor’s story. She didn’t have an easy childhood, but she didn’t let everything that happened in her life hold her back from following God’s plan for her life and seeing how He worked through her. She didn’t remain a victim but an overcomer through Jesus. If you have things in your past that always make you feel like you can only be a victim, I want to encourage you to ask God to bring you healing. Have people you trust pray for you and be encouraged by counseling. Don’t let your past hold you back from the things God has for your life and move forward with Him victoriously!!
