We hope you had a wonderful week!!

Having a neighbor community is a huge blessing. During the last week one of our neighbors helped us to get to a store to get some mixes for our Christmas brownies. Then we got to help other neighbors who had a bit of a hard time. So it keeps going around everyone helping each other. But that only happens if you have a community with your neighbors and are connected with them.

We also hope you got encouraged through todays Gospel Carrier Darlene Cunningham. We want to encourage you if you are married to remember that you and your spouse are a team and not competitors. Build Gods kingdom together, spend time to pray together and catch Gods vision for your family!!

We hope you had a wonderful week!!

During the last week Jen and I were out on a date and Caleb played with the grandparents outside. When we got back it just so happened that we all walked and biked into our street at the same time. But not just us a bunch of our neighbor friends also arrived back at that time and it ended up being a wonderful spontaneous time to connect, encourage and also welcome one neighbor back after a long trip. Those things can’t be planned instead they just happen when you are outside.

We also hope you got encouraged through todays Gospel Carrier Loren Cunningham. Ask yourself the question what Vision God gave you and how you can actively live it. If you don’t have a clear vision no problem, Jesus called all of us to share the good news as well as to love our neighbor. So we all got something to do!! J

Jens Mom and her husband are visiting us right now. It is wonderful to have family here. Caleb is so happy too to play with both of them. Since our families live far away its always a blessing to see them. We want to encourage you to not take family for granted!!

We want to encourage you to spend time reading your bible and seeing the privilege that we have easy access to it.  Also google organizations you can send bibles through to people around the world that don’t have access to bibles and support them through finances for bibles.

We hope you had a wonderful week!!

One of our good friends from the neighborhood passed away a little bit ago and last weekend we got to go to the Memorial. Jen got to share a little bit about or friendship with her and all the wonderful moments we had together and about how much she meant to us. But we also got to hear from different people who were there how much our friendship meant to her. Friendship with our neighbors matters more then you might think!!

In most organizations you see and know the faces of the people that are more in the public, but there are many people working behind the scenes that are a big part in making everything work. One of those in our YWAM Bay area family is our finance director. From making sure bills are paid, keeping the books and organizing everything so that donations go to the right spot just name a few, she did such an amazing job. She made sure all those things are working and done correctly over all those years. She also helped to put together and trained a team (which im also part of) which will now take on her roles when she is leaving. We are all so thankful for her and are sad to see her go but in the same way are happy for her and her family for the next things God has for her.

We also hope you got encouraged through todays Gospel Carrier Elisabeth Elliot. We want to encourage you to use the giftings God has given you to share the gospel.
