[:en]Wow, we are now together for 1.5 years on this journey through the bible, isn’t that exciting! Today we are in the book Songs of Songs. A whole book dedicated to love in marriage. Enjoy!

How are you?

What an amazing week. We were part of a worship/prayer event called the sound which was hosted by different churches from the bay area. People from different parts of San Francisco, the bay area and all over the country came to pray for our city. The times were mostly in our neighborhood as well as in Golden Gate Park and Mount Davidson which is the highest spot and which also has a big cross on the top. While all that was going on there was also a Vacation bible school for the children in North Beach. Jen had a part in that. It was so wonderful standing together with others and praying for our city and seeing how adults and children got to hear the good news of the gospel.

Spend some time this week to read Song of songs. After you are done with reading ask yourself how it spoke to you and also how it challenged you.

Markus and Jen[:de]Wow, wir sind nun schon 1.5 Jahre auf dieser Reise durch die Bibel ist das nicht spaanend!! Heute sind wir im Hohen Lied angekommen. Ein Buch in dem es um die Liebe in einer Ehe geht. Viel Spass damit!

Wie Geht es dir?

Was für eine tolle Woche. Wir waren Teil einer Lobpreis/Gebets Veranstaltung The Sound, der von verschiedenen Kirchen aus dem Bay Area veranstaltet wurde. Menschen aus verschiedenen Teilen von San Francisco, dem Bay Area und dem ganzen Land kamen, um für unsere Stadt zu beten. Die Zeiten waren meistens in unserer Wohngegend als auch im Golden Gate Park und Mount Davidson, der höchsten Punkt wo ein großes Kreuz auf der Spitze steht. Während all das los war, hatten wir auch parallel eine Kinderbibelwoche in North Beach. Jen half dabei mit. Es war so wunderbar, mit anderen zusammen zu stehen und für unsere Stadt zu beten und zu erleben wie Erwachsene als auch Kinder die gute Nachricht des Evangeliums hören konnten.

Verbringe diese Woche etwas Zeit das Hohe Lied zu lesen. Nachdem du das gemacht hast stelle dir die Frage wie das Hohe Lied zu dir gesprochen hat und dich herausgefordert hat?

How was your week? Send us an update!

Our week in San Francisco was great! During the weekend our neighborhood north beach had many visitors through the north beach fair which was awesome. Jen helped out at a booth for a neighborhood organization and could connect through that with many people. Did you get our newest Newsletter update last week! If you didn’t, send us an email so we can add you to the list!! We also started to get ready for the start of the new year with love your neighbor tips. If you haven’t joined in before join this time. It will start july 3^rd. Every week we will post a 1 minute video on how to get started in loving your neighbor and building community where you are at. And doing things together is always better so once a month we will hold a live zoom call which we call love your neighbor conversation. During this time we’ll talk some more about the topics of the month. This will be a place to learn from each other, ask questions, share ideas and get encouraged.  We’ll post the monthly link for the zoom meetup so make sure to join! Spend some time this week to read Ecclesiastes and while doing that ask yourself what areas in your life stuck out to you in hopes to find fulfillment? Where are you still looking for fullfilment outside of Go? Start refocusing those areas back on God!

Wie war deine Woche? Schick uns ein Update

Unsere Woche in San Francisco war toll! Während des Wochenendes war in unserer Wohngegend das North Beach North Beach Fair was viele Besucher brachte. Jen half an einem Stand für eine Nachbarschaftsorganisation aus und konnte dadurch mit vielen Menschen in Kontakt kommen. Hast du letzte Woche unseren neuesten Newsletter/ Rundbrief bekommen? Falls nicht schick uns eine E-Mail das wir dich auf die Update Liste aufnehmen können. Wir haben auch begonnen alles für ein neues Jahr mit den wöchentlichen Liebe-dein-Nachbar-Tipps vorzubereiten. Wenn du noch nicht mitgemacht hast, sei dieses Jahr dabei. Los geht es am 3. Juli. Jede Woche veröffentlichen wir ein 1-minütiges Video darüber, wie du beginnen kannst, deinen nachbarn zu lieben und Gemeinschaft in deiner Wohngegend aufzubauen. Und Dinge zusammen zu tun ist immer besser, deshalb werden wir einmal im Monat einen Live-Zoom-Call haben, den wir Liebe-deinen-Nachbarn-Gespräch nennen. In dieser Zeit sprechen wir etwas mehr über die Themen des Monats. Dies wird ein Platz sein, um voneinander zu lernen, Fragen zu stellen, Ideen auszutauschen und sich gegenseitig zu ermutigen. Wir werden den monatlichen Link für das Zoom-Meetup veröffentlichen, also mach mit! Waehrend du das Buch der Prediger liest stell dir dir Frage welche Dinge aus dem Text zu dir gesprochen haben, speziell im Bereich Erfüllung in deinem Leben? Wo suchst du noch Erfüllung in anderen Dingen als in Gott? Bitte Gott darum die zu helfen deinen kompletten Fokus auf ihn zu legen!
