The joy that comes with sharing our faith

Our attitude is different when we do something out of duty then if we do it because of pure joy. Be inspired by this blog!

Hi our friend

We hope you started well into June with the day of Pentecost last Sunday, the day when the disciples received the holy spirit in the book of acts. We are praying that God fills you and us new with his spirit.

Last week Jen and I were working on a teaching video for Mission Adventures (the youth group mission program of YWAM). In it, we are teaching on loving your neighbor and bringing the love of God into their communities. It’s important we all invest in the new generation like it also talks about in the bible as an example in Psalm 78.5-7. Another thing out of the normal was a social distancing birthday party in the park for a neighbor. It was fun! What special thing did you do during this week?

Start sharing your faith so more people have that joy knowing Jesus!

God bless you

Walls that keep us from trust

This blog is again about our topic of the year “I believe, help me in my unbelieve”. Be encouraged and inspired!!

Hi our friend

First of all we hope you had an awesome week!! May is almost over but there are still some days left to encourage people and bring the hope of Jesus!! Let us use any chance we get for this!!

We had a great week here in SF. It was warm and sunny for parts of it which is awesome!! Jen and I took some extended time to pray and spend time with God. Every time we have those extended times we ask ourselves why we don’t do it more often. The book club we started is so encouraging. Reading that book life of the beloved by Henri Nouwen together reminds us all of the love of God for us. Again I highly recommend you to read it too so you get reminded of how loved you are too!!

Don’t forget this week to ask God for the walls that hold you back in your life!!

God bless you

Being more like Jesus through always believing for redemption

Over the next few weeks we want to look at different characteristics of Jesus and how he lived his life. We want to learn from him and apply it to our life. This week its all about redemption!

Hi our friend

We hope your week was amazing!!

This last week we joined our first social distancing goodbye for a friend from the hill. Everyone stood 6 feet away from each other and talked and connected. A beautiful community. So you have to be a little creative in this season, but that being creative is always a good thing. Outside of that we had many little meetings. We also started to read life of the beloved from Henri Nouwen together with our Encouragment group, a very powerful book. If you get a chance read it!! We all need to know and believe more how loved we are by God. Jen and I also celebrated our 8 year anniversary with a beauitiful bike ride, a thing that is allowed right now. We had a wonderful time!!

Live this week more like Jesus by believing for redemption for people even if it seems impossible!

God bless you

Being more like Jesus through caring for all

Over the next few weeks we want to look at different characteristics of Jesus and how he lived his life. We want to learn from him and apply it to our life. This week its about caring for all!

Hi our friend

We hope you had an amazing week!!

We had a good week here in San Francisco. We had the honor to speak to young leaders in Germany for a evening and it was a lot of fun. The rest of the week was full of zoom times and connecting through phone with many times of encouragement. This season is significant and we can all be hope ambassadors. So lets all do it!!

Live this week more like Jesus by caring for all people and show it to them!

God bless you

Being more like Jesus through staying to the calling

Over the next few weeks we want to look at different characteristics of Jesus and how he lived his life. We want to learn from him and apply it to our life. This week its about staying to the calling!

Hi our friend

We hope you had a great start into may!!

Ours started great! On Friday we had 2 wonderful meetings with our YWAM Family one was the bay area and the other one was all of North America. Both were really encouraging. It is important in this season to stay connected with each other your church family, your neighbors and of course your own family!! And through technology all of that is possible. During our week we also had lots of other zoom times with people. One day we had 4 zoom meetings which were fun. Jen was also able to help to put 100 care packages together for the seniors of the neighborhood and we also recorded art class videos for the kids at the boys and girls club. What a wonderful week. How was yours?

Live this week more like Jesus by staying true to your calling whatever that is.

God bless you
