Redemption part 21: Discipleship teaching through words

Jesus called us to go into all the world to make disciples, but how does that look like. Over the next 3 weeks I will share 3 areas that are key. This week its about teaching with words. Be inspired!

Hi our friend

We hope you had a wonderful week!!

Technology can be such a blessing. A few years ago it would have not been possible to speak to a group thousands of miles away and later that day to a local group. Last Friday exactly that happened. I was able to share with a youth group in Germany which was a lot of fun and then later in the day I got to share with a group right downtown in San Francisco. Technology made the world smaller and also opened the door for the good news to spread in a way like never before. Ask yourself the question how you can use technology to bring the good news to people.

As we talked about in Part 1 in the video blog on discipleship, ask yourself the question who you can disciple with words and who disciples you with words?

God bless you

Markus, Jen and Caleb

Redemption part 20: Reinstated

How would you feel if you let down your best friend in a moment he really needed you? But what if that best friend forgives you and reinstates you and lets you still be part of his plans? This is the story we talk about today. You find it in John 21:15-19

Hi our friend

We hope you had a wonderful week!!

Ours was full of wonderful times with people. Since we had some wonderful weather all of us got to go outside more and connect with neighbors. Its amazing how many wonderful conversations you can have by just walking around the block 3 or 4 times. Its so simple. We want to encourage you to do that in your neighborhood too!

Also along with the video blog we want to encourage you that you are not disqualified and that Jesus wants you to be part in building the kingdom.

God bless you

Markus, Jen and Caleb

Redemption part 19: The Win

If good Friday would have been the end of the story it would have been a very sad ending. But today we hear about that it was not the end! Let it bring you hope and joy like it brought the ones that encountered Jesus after he rose. You can read about it in John 20

Hi our friend

First of all, we wish you a blessed and happy Easter. He is risen!! We hope you get to or got to celebrate the good news of the resurrection with friends and family! We also want to encourage you to spend some time thinking about the good news of Jesus rising from the dead. Think about what that means for you and your life. And then make sure to share the good news with someone who hasn’t heard yet!!

God bless you

Markus, Jen and Caleb

Redemption part 18: So much love

Do you know how loved you are? Watch todays video and let the love of Jesus speak to you. You can read about it in Mark 4:32-42, Luke 23:33-49 and Mark 15:22-41

Hi our friend

How are you?

Our week was great in San Francisco as well as in at the conference in Colorado. I felt so encouraged and inspired by the different people who shared at the conference, as well by our conversations sitting and brainstorming together around the table. I got to hear so many things of how God is moving in different places, including in my homeland Germany. If you want to hear more about it message me. I also got to see my god son and his family and also Mikel and his family. While I was gone Jen got to meet up with different mom friends in the neighborhood and Caleb could play with his friends.

There is no greater love then the love of Jesus. Spend some time this week to think about the love he showed you and each one of us by going to the cross.

God bless you

Markus, Jen and Caleb

Redemption part 17: A different way

Jesus did a lot of things different then people expected him to do. He showed a different way, a way to inspire us too to live different. You can read about it in Matthew 21:1-10 and John 13: 5-17

Hi our friend

How are you? I hope you had a wonderful week!!

We had a great week here in San Francisco. On Friday we had our twice a year evaluation time which was super encouraging. It was so good to get input from others as well as spending time together. Those times are wonderful for the ones who evaluate and the ones who get evaluated.  On Saturday I (Markus) left for a conference in Colorado and together with that I am also able to see my god son and my friends that live close to there. I’m super excited!

Dont forget this coming week to Imagine what would happen if we all live the different way Jesus taught us. What would that show to the world? Let us all start with it even if it is in a small way.

God bless you

Markus, Jen and Caleb
