Redemption part 15: Inner Healing

Jesus didn’t just bring physical healing to people, but also emotional one. Today we will share about 2 ladies who got to experience that. Read about both of them in John 4 and John 8.3-11.

Hi our friend

We hope you had a wonderful week. During the last month we saw again how much of a blessing it is to have a strong community. After 12 years in our apartment, we started to run out of space, especially with Caleb around too. We prayed for a while for a new place in the same area and then God opened it up (we can share that miracle story with you sometime when you see us)! Instead of 450square feet we have now 760squarefeet which makes a big difference. We also have for the first time a washer and dryer in the building which is a blessing too.  While we were moving all the things in our old apartment 3 buildings up to the new one many of our friends from church, ywam and other places, neighbors and a new friend a construction worker helped us in so many ways. Some helped carry heavy items over, others watched Caleb, others borrowed us vehicles or tools and some others helped us clean and even paid for cleaners for the final move out cleaning. And then some gave us furniture or other things we needed. One of the things we prayed for was a bigger table so we can fit more people and God answered that prayer too through friends who had an extra one! We feel so blessed!! Thank you to each one of you! We are so blessed by community! We are also excited to have more people over again since we have more space. Our new table fits many people so come by for a visit!!!!

With this weeks video we want to encourage you to ask Jesus to help you and us to grow in being more loving and forgiving to others but also not begin afraid to help them towards change. Also let him bring inner healing into your own life where you need it!

God bless you

Markus, Jen and Caleb

Redemption part 14: Sickness and disease gone

I love it when Jesus brings healing and restoration to people. Today we are looking at a woman and a man who both got healed from him. Read about both of them in Luke 8.43-48 and John 9.

Hi our friend

We hope you had a good week. Parts of ours was sad since I found out about 2 friends who passed away. Its always hard to loose someone, even we know they knew and loved Jesus and we will see them again in heaven. Death is hard for the ones that are left behind and go through the grief. But we know from Psalm 34.18 that The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. We are praying for Gods peace and comfort for both of the families.

With a lot of rain in the last months, it was sometimes hard to connect with families in the park. But during the last week Jen was able to do that. Everyone was excited to be outside and be able to see each other. The park became a little community over time. If you go to a place regularly and are intentional you will have wonderful opportunities to connect with people. It can be at a local park, a coffee shop or other places in your neighborhood were people meet. You will be blessed!

We also want to encourage you to ask Jesus to be used by Him to bring change into the lives of people in your area and to be his hand and feet.

God bless you

Markus, Jen and Caleb

Redemption part 13: Its a choice

Often when we think of people Jesus reached out to we think of the poor and marginalized, but Jesus also reached out a lot to the rich. Today we will talk about 2 people that he reached out to from the wealthier crowd and the different choices they made. You can read about the 2 in Luke 18.18- 19.10

Hi our friend

We hope you had a fantastic week.

On Friday we had a meeting with all the YWAM Leaders from all the bay area which was really amazing. It was really encouraging to hear the different stories people were sharing of what God is doing in all the different areas but as well were they face challenges. It is so important and good to not walk alone but walk together! That is something I really love about YWAM.

We also want to encourage you through the stories in the video today to not let anything stand in the way of Jesus and you that you cant let go because your trust is so tied in with it.

God bless you

Markus, Jen and Caleb

Redemption Part 12: A teacher who wants to learn

Teachers are usually the ones that teach especially if they are the highest teacher in the country. But this Teacher comes to Jesus to learn. Be inspired and encouraged. You find the bible reference for todays topic in John 3

Hi our friend

How are you?

We hope you had a wonderful week. While waiting outside I got into a conversation with a young man right where we live. He kind of looked lost so I just started talking to him. During our conversation I was able to encourage him and also pray for him. The opportunity opened up because of God making me aware of my surroundings. I could have easily missed it by just using the wait time to check my phone but because I didn’t, I was able to notice this young man. I want to encourage you through this situation to ask God to help you be aware of your surroundings.

We also want to encourage you along with the video and us to always have a learning heart. Also don’t forget to show his love to people. Don’t get discouraged if they don’t follow Jesus right away. Remember Nicodemus took a long time with this decision, till the time when Jesus was at the cross.

God bless you

Markus, Jen and Caleb

Redemption Part 11: An unusual Team

If you put together a Team you look at that the people are well educated in your area and help you to achieve what you set out to.  Today we will talk about a team that is put together a bit different. Be inspired and encouraged. You find the bible reference for todays topic in Mark 1:16-20
