Gospel Carriers: Dallas Jenkins

This weeks Gospel Carrier is a man who made and makes a TV Show about the life of Jesus. Be inspired and encouraged by his story. Watch the show as well as the bible roundtables to each Episode under this link. https://www.thechosen.tv/en-us

Hi our friend

How was your week?

During the weekend our neighborhood celebrated Italian heritage weekend. We had a big parade and the school hosted a big bazar with games and different things for the children. Jen and I both helped out at different times at different stations. Events like this are a great way to bring the community together and as well to get to know people from your neighborhood. Look for events in your neighborhood and volunteer with tasks needed. If there is no need for help invite your neighbors to go together or meet new neighbors there.

We hope you’ve been inspired by Dallas Story. Ask God to show you what you still have to surrender in your life and ask him also to show you areas where you still try to get the glory. Surrender and give that all to him and let him use you in whatever way he has planned for you to be a Gospel Carrier so others can hear the good news!

Have a blessed week

Desperation leads to Him

Today’s video is about 2 people who were desperate and who looked for Him.  You can read the story in Mark 5.21-43. Be encouraged. Here are also the links to the chosen episodes so you can watch the story too!

Hello our friend

We hope you had a great week!

Once a week I go on a prayer walk around the neighborhood. I usually walk around different parts of the neighborhood and pray for things I see, God puts on my heart or people directly. Doing a prayer walk gives your greater inside into the needs of your neighborhood and the things that are on Gods heart for it. While prayer walking you often also run into neighbors and can get into wonderful conversations. We want to encourage you to start prayer walking your neighborhood!

Also a reminder from the video: If we are desperate for something lets always go first to Jesus and ask him what to do.

God bless you

Hi our friend

We hope you had a wonderful week!!

Last Saturday I was reminded of the saying many hands make work light. Calebs school is hosting a bazar in a few weeks and they needed to count all the inventory for it. They asked who would be able to help and quite a few parents showed up. Because all of the ones that came worked together things got done really fast. We want to encourage you to serve in your community. Help with things that are needed and the more people help the quicker things get done!!

We hope you’ve been inspired by Idas Story. Ask God to show you the injustices that stir up your heart and ask Him if you are called to make a difference in those and become a Gospel Carrier.

Have a blessed week

A love your neighbor tip: Listen

Today I have a love your neighbor tip for you in the video. Listen! Be inspired.

Hello our friend

We hope you had a wonderful week.

Since Caleb started school, we have a new daily routine. Either both of us or Jen bringing him to school. When we get there, we get to see all the other parents who also drop off their children and often end up in conversation with each other. It is an automatic build in way to connect with parents from our neighborhood on a regular basis. What routines do you have to connect with neighbors and others from your community? Maybe going to the local grocery store? Think about it and make it a point connecting with others!!

Also a reminder from the video: Practice this week active listening with a friend. Listen and ask questions. If your mind wanders off write down the things that distract you.

God bless you

Markus, Jen and Caleb

Hi our friend

We hope you had a wonderful week!!

Since Caleb is in school Jen and I got more time to meet and talk more about the next season and what God has in store. There are so many things to do and to invest time in, but we want to make sure to really hear God clearly on what he has for this season. Keep us in your prayers for clarity.

We hope you’ve been inspired by Samuels story. Ask God if you are called to be a recruiter to recruit people to go to other places to share the good news!

Have a blessed week
