We hope you had a wonderful week!

This week we had such a wonderful time having lunch with neighbor friends who became family to us over the years. Its so wonderful having such relationships right where you live. It’s a big blessing. We want to encourage you to keep building friendships with your neighbors and feel the blessing it is to love your neighbor!!

Also don’t forget to ask yourself the question from the video. What would you honestly say if Jesus asked you the question do you love me?

In Romans 12. 15 it talks about to mourn with those who mourn and that is what Jen was able to do with the family of a neighborhood friend. She attended a memorial service for a lady who was part of a group who prayed for our Neighborhood. It is so important in times of sadness to be there for the families and mourn with them.

“We hope that you have been inspired by William and Catherine. Ask yourself the question: What moves your heart and then pray and ask God if that is the area he wants to use you in to bring change.

We hope you had a wonderful week!

Community is such a blessing!! This week a friend from church watched Caleb for a few hours so we could go together through the next teaching for the love your neighbor class. It was such a blessing. We also had fun with another neighbor brunch which is a wonderful way to build community too!!

Also don’t forget if you are facing a challenging season in your life that brings you fear and makes you feel alone, lean into him and also let Psalm 139 speak to you.

We hope you had a wonderful week!!

Tomorrow, Saturday, we will run our first 6 session love your neighbor class with a church from the area. It’s a class to inspire others in loving their neighbor and having so much joy in doing it. Over the years we taught 1 or 2 session workshops but felt its important to develop it into a longer class to walk alongside with people and encourage and help them in the process. Pray for us in this exciting season!

We hope that you have been inspired by Fanny Crosby. We want to encourage you that God wants to use your talents and gifts to touch the life’s of people.

I hope you had some time during the week leading up to Easter to reflect on all the things that happened during Holy Week and what Jesus did for us.  On Good Friday I was able to join a church service in our neighborhood. It was a time of deep reflection and deep-felt emotions to look at the cross, carried through the middle isle of the church, and remember how Jesus laid down his life for each one of us because of how much he loves us. But that was not the end. 2 days later it was a lot happier when we celebrate His resurrection. I love the most wonderful words Christians spoke to each other for so many years:

He is risen!!

He is risen indeed!!

I want to encourage you to remember how much you are loved!! We wish you a blessed Easter!!

Also don’t forget to ask Jesus to help you understand the resurrection fully so it does not just bring you a deeper understanding of it, but also brings so much joy that makes you want to share it with others around you!
