Stories to think about – Jude brother of the most famous man

Our story today is about Jude a man who was the brother of a very famous man. Be encouraged by Him!

Hi our friend

How are you?

Our Staff Retreat was wonderful! We were at a retreat center in the middle of the forest which was wonderful. It was such a time of refreshment, learning, praying for each other and reconnecting. Caleb had a wonderful time too and made many friends who he played with a lot. We are so thankful for our YWAM Family and for the fact that we are able to show Jesus together to people in different parts of the city and the bay area. What a blessing.

Don’t forget this week to ponder on these questions from the story about Jude: who is Jesus to you in your life? Is he the one for everything?

God bless you

Hi our friend

How was your week?

We had a wonderful week in San Francisco. Our highlight so was our first Love your neighbor conversation meetup and it was wonderful! The participants were giving good feedback and it was a good first time. We are excited to see how God will use this time of conversation and questions to encourage and equip people in loving their neighbor. Join us in one of the future ones! The next one is august 26th at 5pm PST.

Spend some time this week and read the book of Jude and think about how it applies into today’s time!

God bless you

Stories to think about – John the son of thunder

Our story today is about John and how Jesus calls people. Be encouraged by his story!

Hi our friend

How are you?

Mark twain was right when he said the coldest winter he ever experienced was summer in San Francisco. We had wonderful sunshine everyday but the temperatures were low. But that didn’t stop us from connecting with our community and others outside. We got to go on walks with some or connect while walking in the morning. Just by being out there we were able to encourage some or be a listening ear to others. The importance is that we are outside and use the chance to connect with others.

And also like Jesus called the son of thunder and he became a great disciple who changed the world,  let us do that today while beeing outside in our neighborhood. Let’s find the sons and daughters of thunder in our neighborhood and call them and guide them too so they can be a big part of the kingdom!!

God bless you

Stories to think about – Peter or failures made him grow

Our story today is about Peter and how all his shortcomings made him grow. Be inspired and encouraged by his life!

Hi our friend

We hope you are enjoying this beautiful summer so far!! Last week we had one of the hottest days in a really long time here in San Francisco 95°F.

During our week we were able to meet and encourage different people in different life circumstances. Its wonderful to see how God connected us with people in the past and now in this season uses us to bring hope to them. Its so important for each one of us to establish relationships with people around us to be part of their life, that way we can be there for them and they can be there for us in harder times and God can bring hope through us. Jen also hosted a Moms gathering for local moms and had a wonderful time. It was a blessing for all the participants including all the toddlers and babies since they loved having a community.

This weeks Blog topic was about Peter. He called out to Jesus when he failed and asked for his guidance. Are you asking God for guidance in your life and especially in moments of failure? If not start doing that and make it a lifestyle!!

God bless you
