This week I got to share at a YWAM Event with a panel of others on zoom about neighborhoods. We all shared on the places we live and how special and unique they are and talked about challenges our neighborhoods face and how we can help in those areas as believers. One thing that stuck out with all of the panelist was that following the great commandment in loving our neighbors makes a difference wherever we are. We want to encourage you that loving your neighbor also makes a difference in the area where you live. Start with it or keep doing it!!

We hope you got inspired by the video. Lets ask ourselves the question: Are we willing to lay down our dreams and life to follow Jesus to build his kingdom?

We hope you had a wonderful week!!

Last weekend we did the 2^nd part of the love your neighbor workshop with a church in the city. It was so encouraging to hear how God gave them a different perspective as well as a greater impact with the people around them since the first time we met. This is our heart to train and inspire people to love their neighbors in their neighborhood, bring hope and build genuine relationships. It also helps to bring people out of isolation that are trapped in it. If you are interested in joining one of the workshops we do either in person or over zoom, just send us an email and we will let you know when we host the next one!!

How was your week?

This week San Francisco got hit with a heat wave for our San Francisco summer (our summer is September October). According to Alexa we got one day temperatures up to 98 degrees. But that didn’t stop us from having our small group, a dinner with neighbors and to have our neighbor brunch. No matter if its hot or cold we are all in need of community in every season.  We want to encourage you to keep building community in the neighborhood you live in!!

We hope you were inspired by the video! Don’t forget to ask yourself the following questions: Do you have talents in translating languages ​​and does God want to use you to translate the Bible into languages ​​that it doesn’t yet exist in? Who can you encourage who you know and who is good with languages ​​to help translate the Bible? Who can you support who translates the Bible, financially or in other ways? Pray about it!!
