We are still in Pennsylvania but we will be flying back to san Francisco on Wednesday. Thank you for your prayers for the ticket changes that we had to make to get here early. The airline changed our tickets for free which is an absolute miracle. We had a wonderful Christmas time here with family. It was such a blessing to see all of them. On Christmas eve we went to a late night candle light service in a little country church in Pennsylvania. During the service we sang the famous Christmas carol “Joy to the world”. In the last verse the song talks about how Jesus rules the world. When I read over the news and hear how worried many are about politics and the situation in the world I believe that we often forget that. I believe that if we just look at circumstances our outlook could be sometimes really negative. But if we remind ourselves on a daily base that Jesus is in charge and that he hast the best plan, our perspective will change. Our eyes are focused on Him instead of circumstances and that changes everything. Start your new year with the knowledge that He rules and know that he knows the whole picture. Have a blessed start into 2013.

Wir sind noch in Pennsylvania aber fliegen am Mittwoch wieder zurück nach San Francisco. Vielen Dank für deine Gebete für unsere Flug Tickets Änderungen. Die Airline änderte sie ohne Extra Kosten, was ein wahres Wunder war. Wir hatten ein schönes Weihnachtsfest hier mit der Familie, sogar mit Schnee. Es war ein Segen alle wieder zu sehen. Am Heiligen Abend gingen wir zu einem Kerzen Gottesdienst in einer kleinen alten Kirche auf dem Land in Pennsylvania. Während des Gottesdienstes sangen wir das bekannte Weihnachtslied „Joy to the World“. Im letzten Vers spricht der Text davon wie Jesus die Welt regiert. Wenn ich die Nachrichten lese und höre wie besorgt viele Menschen sind glaube ich dass wir dies oftmals vergessen. Ich glaube das unser Ausblick oftmals sehr negativ sein kann wenn wir nur auf Umstände und die aktuelle Lage schauen. Aber wenn wir uns täglich daran erinnern das Jesus regiert und das er den besten Plan hat, wird sich unsere Perspektive ändern. Unsere Augen sind dann auf Ihn gerichtet anstatt auf die Umstände und das bringt Veränderung. Fang dein neues Jahr mit dem Wissen an das Jesus regiert und das er das ganze Bild kennt, die Vergangenheit, die Gegenwart und die Zukunft. Habe ein gesegnetes Jahr 2013.
