Wow this week was a busy one but a wonderful one too. We got to spend time with many different people for birthdays, meetings, small groups or meals. It’s a blessing to be part of so many different communities. All of us need community! If you dont have a community ask God to guide you to one that you can be part of!

And one last thing at the end about the video: Reflect on the things you are doing and ask yourself which of those have an eternal perspective vs short term. Let us ask Jesus to help us to get his perspective for every part of our life!

How was your week? And especially how are you doing in this very different season?

Our week here in San Francisco looked very different than any week we had so far. Starting Tuesday we had to stay inside and could only go out for grocery shopping or daily walks. That leads to many changes in the way you can love your neighbor and neighborhood. But you know what we were still able to love people in the morning during our runs by encouraging them with 6 feet distance from each other. Or we called seniors on the phone or wrote encouraging cards. We also started an online video series on how you can love your neighbor from home #loveyourneighborfromhome with a daily tip on how to do it till the end of virus crisis. Make sure to follow us on facebook l-y-n , on Instagram @loveyourneighborsf and on YouTube Playlist Love your neighbor from home – daily tips to get those videos daily. This is the season for all of us Jesus lovers to show his love to people that are lonely and isolated through creative ways!! Lets all do it and for that build stronger neighborhoods and communities that are in love with Jesus!!

Start this week to take a step in faith to increase your trust and also to give unbelieve a smaller and smaller role in your life!! You can do it!!

How are you? We hope great!! How was the last month for you?

I have to say our February in San Francisco was awesome! We had so much time with people, amazing weather and many God moments. Doors opened this month in big ways too which is super exciting. Last weekend we got to meet with a friend who helped us get started in the editing process of the book which is such a blessing. We just feel hold and guided by God all along the way. So awesome!!

This weeks blog is about fasting. Fasting is often seen as hard but often we forget about the blessings of it. Be encouraged and inspired by this video blog!

Hi our friend

We hope you had a wonderful week!! If we would have to put a headline on top of ours, it would be community. On Wednesday we hosted 2 of our church friends for dinner which was a lot of fun. Our church small group also met for the first time this year in our house and then we had our bi-annual review and evaluation meeting with all the ywam leaders. On Saturday one of our neighbors was inspired by us and hosted a lunch and movie time at his house. It was wonderful. At night we had a dinner event with the boys and girls club and on Sunday we hosted a little event at our house to watch the Oscars together. Besides those, we had all our normal weekly things going on. And somewhere in between Jen and I had a date night. What a great week.

Look at your life and see what things have a hold of you and then come up with a plan to fast them and let God help you in it!!

We hope you had a wonderful week!! Our week was busy in a good way. We had our quarterly meeting with other ministry leaders from the bay area and it was encouraging as usual. We also were able to connect in a deeper way with our community here. A very good week. And Jen and went out on a date night together which was really fun.

Remember to look at your thoughts and the things you focus on and make sure to focus on Jesus!
