Community is such a blessing!! This week a friend from church watched Caleb for a few hours so we could go together through the next teaching for the love your neighbor class. It was such a blessing. We also had fun with another neighbor brunch which is a wonderful way to build community too!!

Also don’t forget if you are facing a challenging season in your life that brings you fear and makes you feel alone, lean into him and also let Psalm 139 speak to you.

Hi our friend

I hope you had some time during the week leading up to Easter to reflect on all the things that happened during Holy Week and what Jesus did for us.  On Good Friday I was able to join a church service in our neighborhood. It was a time of deep reflection and deep-felt emotions to look at the cross, carried through the middle isle of the church, and remember how Jesus laid down his life for each one of us because of how much he loves us. But that was not the end. 2 days later it was a lot happier when we celebrate His resurrection. I love the most wonderful words Christians spoke to each other for so many years:

He is risen!!

He is risen indeed!!

I want to encourage you to remember how much you are loved!! We wish you a blessed Easter!!

Also don’t forget to ask Jesus to help you understand the resurrection fully so it does not just bring you a deeper understanding of it, but also brings so much joy that makes you want to share it with others around you!

We hope you had a wonderful week!

Last week I went on a quick walk around the block. Just by doing that I got into many wonderful conversations with different neighbors. Doing that for many years connects you with your neighbors in a deeper way and builds community. I want to encourage you to start today to walk around your neighborhood regularly and start having conversations with your neighbors.

Also don’t forget to ask yourself the question from the video. In which areas you not have the right expectations of Jesus?
