Gospel Carriers: Rowland Bingham

This weeks Gospel Carrier is a man from England who had a heart to bring the Gospel to Sudan. Be inspired by his story.   If you want to read more of his story the book Christian Heros then and now Rowland Bingham into Africas Interior is a great way to do that!

Hi our friend

We hope you had a wonderful week!!

I can’t believe that we are only a few days away from November and with that the holiday season is approaching quickly. First Thanksgiving, then Advent Season, then Christmas and New year. Lots of opportunities to connect with our neighbors through a holiday themed get together. The important thing is that you start planning now. I’m saying this because we just updated our calendars with the upcoming events for that season and saw how quick it filled up. Action Step: Look at your calendar this week and put down a date for some holiday themed get together!!

We hope you’ve been inspired by Rowlands Story. Remember to not give up even when you hit obstacles. And don’t forget to make prayer a regular thing in your life!

Have a blessed week

Gideon and how God affirms

Today’s video is about Gideon. A man who had things confirmed by God and turned to God in times of fear. You can find his story in Judges 6-8. Be encouraged.

Hello our friend

How was your week?

Last Sunday we were invited to preach at a church in the city on loving your neighbor. It was a wonderful time and at the end I had some great conversations with some people in the church. I love when God opens the door to inspire and encourage others in loving their neighbor.

And here’s a little reminder from the video: If something is holding you back from doing the things God has for you, bring it to Him and let Him encourage, confirm, and strengthen you.

God bless you

Gospel Carriers: Dallas Jenkins

This weeks Gospel Carrier is a man who made and makes a TV Show about the life of Jesus. Be inspired and encouraged by his story. Watch the show as well as the bible roundtables to each Episode under this link. https://www.thechosen.tv/en-us

Hi our friend

How was your week?

During the weekend our neighborhood celebrated Italian heritage weekend. We had a big parade and the school hosted a big bazar with games and different things for the children. Jen and I both helped out at different times at different stations. Events like this are a great way to bring the community together and as well to get to know people from your neighborhood. Look for events in your neighborhood and volunteer with tasks needed. If there is no need for help invite your neighbors to go together or meet new neighbors there.

We hope you’ve been inspired by Dallas Story. Ask God to show you what you still have to surrender in your life and ask him also to show you areas where you still try to get the glory. Surrender and give that all to him and let him use you in whatever way he has planned for you to be a Gospel Carrier so others can hear the good news!

Have a blessed week

Hello our friend

We hope you had a great week!

Once a week I go on a prayer walk around the neighborhood. I usually walk around different parts of the neighborhood and pray for things I see, God puts on my heart or people directly. Doing a prayer walk gives your greater inside into the needs of your neighborhood and the things that are on Gods heart for it. While prayer walking you often also run into neighbors and can get into wonderful conversations. We want to encourage you to start prayer walking your neighborhood!

Also a reminder from the video: If we are desperate for something lets always go first to Jesus and ask him what to do.

God bless you
