First of all we wish you a blessed and merry Christmas! May this time be a real blessing to you!!

For Jen and me the last week was definitely the week of Christmas celebrations. Between the two of us we went to 5 of them. The great thing about celebrations is that you often see people that you don’t know that well yet and you get the chance to get to know them better just by having a longer conversation. Last week we encouraged you with our love your neighbor tip to have some kind of celebration for christmas with your neighbors. Did you get a chance to do that? If not you still have a few days for a time to get together!

Also dont forget how the Christmas story and Amos show how every person is important to God! Remember that!!

How was your week? This week was a bit different than usual. Jen and I switched a bit roles for 2 days. I watched Caleb while she went to a conference to connect with different ministry leaders in the bay area. It was wonderful for both of us since I got a chance to spend more time with Caleb and Jen got time to be an extrovert with all the people.

We also hope you got encouraged through this weeks story to think about. Here a question about that to ponder on: What if God is calling you to share a message from him to bring strength in a dark place, will you go?

How are you?

We hope you had a great week. We are still in Germany until September 28th and therefore there is no update from our week here but you will still find a new topic here every week!! Check back every week and be encouraged and challenged!!!

Remember this week to write down what God spoke to you about your calling, and if you don’t know yet keep praying and asking him. If God hasn’t given you a specific calling, know that he gave one to each one of us: Loving our neighbor. So lets all do that!!

How are you?

Our Staff Retreat was wonderful! We were at a retreat center in the middle of the forest which was wonderful. It was such a time of refreshment, learning, praying for each other and reconnecting. Caleb had a wonderful time too and made many friends who he played with a lot. We are so thankful for our YWAM Family and for the fact that we are able to show Jesus together to people in different parts of the city and the bay area. What a blessing.

Don’t forget this week to ponder on these questions from the story about Jude: who is Jesus to you in your life? Is he the one for everything?
