How was your week?

This week was wonderful for us. We had so many times with different people and also got to have a neighbor friend over for dinner which was really awesome. On Sunday we have a birthday celebration for Calebs 1^st birthday in our local park. Neighbors, friends from church and YWAM friends are coming. One of our friends who is a singer will sing a song for him and another friend will read a poem he wrote for him. Its so awesome to see all of our friends from our different communities come together to show their love by celebrating Caleb. I say this a lot but true community is something all of us need!! Most of the times it will not just come to you. It takes an effort to build it. But let me tell you when you have it you never want to miss it!! Start today by loving your neighbor!

Also ask yourself the question, based on our story of Job, how is my relationship with God? Is there anything between you and him that holds you away from trusting and new depth? Pray about it and ask God to heal those areas!

Hi our friend

Last week was a week with many emotions for us. We had joy celebrating the wedding of our friends which was such a wonderful time. Later in the week, we got encouragement and a new perspective in moving forward through meeting with different leaders. Then we heard about the situation in Russia/Ukraine and were filled with sadness for many of our friends from there.  Even we can’t directly do something in that situation in the physical, we as followers of Jesus got the great opportunity to pray and change things in the spiritual. Often we don’t know how to pray in situations like this, so lets let the Holy Spirit guide us. Join us in praying.

Esther was called in a kings palace to make a difference in the time she lived! Where are you called to make a difference, especially in this time?

How are you?

Our vacation was wonderful. We feel refreshed and also really enjoyed the snow, something we don’t really get in San Francisco. After we got back, I started to pray and prepare for a message for an online service in Germany. Pray with me that God will put the right words in my mouth when I record it this week and that everyone who watches it will be encouraged and inspired. Thank you so much!!

And as we we saw in the video above in Timothy and maybe our own life that not all of us had fathers that taught us about God. That is why spiritual fathers are so important. Ask God in prayer and yourself who you could be a spiritual son to and then ask if they could adopt you in that way!
