We hope you had a wonderful week!!

We had such a wonderful time at the retreat of a church in San Francisco who invited us to share for the weekend. We had a group of 35 people who we shared with about loving your neighbor and building community right where you are at. So much good conversation was had and so many good plans to start loving the ones around them started. What a wonderful time!!

We also hope you got inspired through todays Gospel Carrier Isobel Kuhn. Ask yourself these 2 questions: Where is God calling you to? Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus or is it more just head knowledge? If this is the case start a personal relationship with Him!!

We hope you had a wonderful celebration of Jesus resurrection during last Easter weekend and the week leading up to it!! I was greeting at church that Sunday and we had so many people come visit from all over who were visiting San Francisco. All of them wanted to be at church to celebrate that special day. But lets all remember that all year around that Jesus is alive!!

One reminder from the video at the end: Ask Jesus to help you to react in love.

Hallo unser Freund

Wir hoffen, dass ihr am vergangenen Osterwochenende und in der Woche davor eine wunderbare Feier der Auferstehung von Jesus hattet!! Ich habe an diesem Sonntag in der Kirche die Menschen begrüßt, und es kamen so viele Besucher aus aller Welt, die San Francisco besucht haben. Sie alle wollten an diesem besonderen Tag in der Kirche sein und feiern. Aber lasst uns das ganze Jahr über daran denken, dass Jesus lebt!!

Zum Schluss noch eine Erinnerung zum Video: Bitte Jesus darum dir zu helfen in Liebe zu reagieren.

He is risen, He is risen indeed!! With these words we want to wish you a blessed Easter

We hope you had a wonderful Holy Week and Easter. Ours was busy but really good. We had a brunch, this time at a neighbors house which was fun! We also hosted our small group were we are talking about Isaiah and so fitting this week about the suffering servant pointing to Jesus. We also spend time to prep more for the retreat and things are really coming together. And then of course we will have a Easter celebration with our church today (Sunday).

But in all the business Jen and I both found time to reflect on the things this week is really about Jesus suffering, death and resurrection. I feel every year that truth sinks in deeper.

Also don’t forget like we heard in the video Jesus is calling for you too! He loves you so much!!

Er ist auferstanden, Er ist wahrhaftig auferstanden! Mit diesen Worten wünschen wir dir ein frohes und gesegnetes Osterfest!

Wir hoffen, ihr hattet eine wunderbare Karwoche und ein gesegnetes Osterfest. Unsere Woche war voll, aber wirklich gut. Wir hatten einen Brunch, dieses Mal bei Nachbarn, was viel Spaß gemacht hat!

Mit unserem Hauskreis sprachen wir über Jesaja – und wie passend war es das diese Woche der leidenden Knecht in Jesaja 50 dran war, der auf Jesus hinweist. Gott hat dies perfekt geplant für uns da wir dieses Buch nun seit über einem Jahr lesen und dieser Text in der Karwoche dran war! Wir haben uns auch Zeit genommen, weiter fuer die Freizeit vorzubereiten, und alle Dinge kommen wirklich gut zusammen. Und natürlich werden wir heute (Sonntag) noch eine Osterfeier mit unserer Gemeinde haben.

Doch bei all der Geschäftigkeit haben Jen und ich beide Zeit gefunden, über das nachzudenken, worum es in dieser Woche wirklich geht: Jesu Leiden, seinen Tod und seine Auferstehung. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass diese Wahrheit jedes Jahr tiefer in unser Herz sinkt.

Vergiss auch nicht was wir im VIdeo gesagt haben Jesus ruft auch dich!!! Er liebt dich so sehr!

We hope you are having a blessed Holy week.

Last week was a special week! We celebrated Calebs 5th birthday! One time with his friends in the park and on his actual day we went as a family to a Monster Truck Show which is one of his favorite things! He even got to ride on the back of a Monster Truck! Thank you God for giving us Caleb, our wonderful Son! We love him so much!!

At the end of todays blog we want to encourage you to read John 13-17 and Luke 22 this week about the last meal of Jesus and his friends before the cross and spend some time reflecting on it. Wir hoffen das du eine gesegnete Kar Woche hast!

Letzte Woche war eine ganz besondere Woche! Wir haben Calebs 5. Geburtstag gefeiert! Einmal mit seinen Freunden im Park und an seinem eigentlichen Geburtstag sind wir als Familie zu einer Monster-Truck-Show gegangen, was zu seinen Lieblingsdingen gehört! Er durfte sogar hinten auf einem Monstertruck mitfahren! Danke Gott, dass du uns Caleb, unseren wunderbaren Sohn, geschenkt hast! Wir lieben ihn so sehr!!

Wir möchten dich zum Schluss ermutigen diese Woche Johannes 13-17 und Lukas 22 zu lesen zum letzten Essen von Jesus und seinen Freunden vor dem Kreuz und verbringe etwas Zeit damit darueber nachzudenken. Schau dir auch die 5. Staffel der Serie The Chosen an in der es genau darum geht.

Prayer walking is such a special thing to do. When I walk through our neighborhood like last week I look at things going on and start praying for it. Then God brings things back to memory that you prayed for before and you pray some more for those. Later you might run into someone and get to pray for them. This can all happen when you are outside walking around your neighborhood but the key is you need to be outside. So go out into your neighborhood and pray!!

We also hope you got inspired through todays Gospel Carrier Clarence Jones. What giftings do you think God has given you and how can you use them for the kingdom?

Wir hoffen, du hattest eine wunderbare Woche!!

Gebetsspaziergänge sind etwas ganz Besonderes. Wenn ich – wie letzte Woche – durch unsere Nachbarschaft gehe, schaue ich mir an, was um mich herum passiert, und beginne dafür zu beten. Dann bringt Gott Dinge in Erinnerung, für die man schon vorher gebetet hat, und man betet weiter dafür. Später trifft man vielleicht jemanden und hat die Gelegenheit, für diese Person zu beten. All das kann passieren, während man draußen in seiner Nachbarschaft unterwegs ist – aber der Schlüssel ist, dass man draußen sein muss. Also geh hinaus in deine Nachbarschaft und bete!!

Wir hoffen, dass du durch die Geschichte von Clarence Jones inspiriert wurdest. Stell dir die Frage welche Gaben Gott dir gab und wie du diese für sein Königreich einsetzten kannst?
