Over this next season we want to look at different people that helped spread the good news in the world. I picked a few of them that stuck out to me since there are so many. So these are not necessarily the most important ones they are just some I picked.

This weeks Gospel Carrier is St Patrick. Be encouraged by this wonderful man of God.

We hope you had a wonderful week!!

We really enjoyed this week!! Here are 2 highlights. 1. We started or week with a big Labor Day BBQ. Different neighbors came and we were able to get to know some of the new ones. Everyone had a wonderful time. Then on Saturday we had another brunch which was wonderful too. We love being able to host more people again. Its such a blessing.

And don’t forget to ask yourself these questions based on the video: What is your response in hard times, are you drawing closer to jesus or further away. Ask yourself what can you learn in that time?
Who do you have to forgive and maybe start loving that enemy

Stories to think about: Jesus loves the little children

Our story today is about how Jesus cares about the smallest people children (Matthew 19). Be inspired and encouraged!

By the way if you wonder about my longer hair in this video be assured I dont have some hair growth creme :). The video was recorded a little while ago in our old place but I haven’t posted it yet since there was no opening on the blog.

Happy labor Day!

Last week was a admin heavier week which is ok. But even in those there are times to go for a walk and connect with neighbors outside. Also last week our local city college reopened and Caleb got to go with Jen to a free preschool program there. It is wonderful that we have access to things like that in SF. Tell us about your week?

Remember to pray about how you can love the little children maybe by serving in youth group, sports team or mentorship! Let God guide you!

Redemption part 40: One last one and what’s next

Today we finish up our series and talk a bit about what’s next!

We hope you had a wonderful week!!

Thank you God for this week!! We had so many wonderful times but Saturday was for sure a highlight. We were doing Part 1 of the love your neighbor workshop with a local church in the morning which was a lot of fun. We really enjoyed the group and their heart for loving their neighbors. After we finished the workshop, we headed over to help with a big worship event at Golden Gate Park which our church put together. This year was the 6th time it happened.  Jen helped with the kids painting station and I was part of the prayer tent and a testimony wall. All of us had a wonderful time. It was also so amazing to see people from different churches coming together to worship Jesus in the middle of Golden Gate Park.

At the end here is a takeaway for the Redemption Series: Know that you are deeply loved by God, keep drawing closer to Him and let his love fill you so that you can love others even better too!

We hope you had a wonderful week!!

Reading the bible together with others is such a blessing! We host a small group at our house from our church and we are reading the book of Romans together. The great thing about reading together is that each one picks up different things from the text things we might otherwise would have missed. We want to encourage you to join a small group in your church and have the wonderful community and study together.

Also don’t forget to deepen your friendship with Jesus and the ones he put on your heart and then to introduce them to your friend Jesus!

Redemption part 38: The Message goes everywhere

We hope you had a wonderful week!!

During our last week we had a wonderful time learning and spending time together with our YWAM Bay area family. We had a day of teaching with a wonderful couple from Chicago and then we went on a 1 night retreat together in the Redwoods where they taught us some more. It was so refreshing being together and connecting with each other on a deeper level. We love those yearly teaching and retreat time. Its so wonderful. And then on the weekend we got to celebrate the birthday of one of our friends. What a wonderful week!!

Also don’t forget to ask yourself this question from the video: Who are the people God wants me to share the good news with? Also ask God to give you courage and the right words to do that!
