Jesus most famous Sermon Part 12 Anxiousness

Today’s topic of Jesus most famous Sermon is about Anxiousness in Matthew 6.25-34. Be inspired!

Hello our friend

We hope you had a wonderful week!

Some visits are easy and lots of fun. But some visits are hard especially if you don’t know if you will see the person again. We had one of those last week while visiting a neighbor friend at a hospice place. It was not an easy time but we were able to bring joy just by being there. Jen got to share the gospel again and pray for our friend. The visit made us sad, but it showed again how genuine and real our friendship is. It can be easy to avoid hard moments like this, but I want to encourage you not to do so. Instead be a genuine friend in those seasons and show the love of Jesus through that!

We also celebrated the 4th of July with our church with a BBQ on the beach. It was a lot of fun! And since it was the 250th birthday celebration the city planned an extra special firework over the Golden Gate Bridge. Sadly so, Karl the fog came in and covered up most of the show. But I got a short video of some that could be seen below the fog. 🙂

One reminder from the video at the end: Want to be more free from anxiousness? Remember to seek first his Kingdom (prioritize his will, recognize God’s authority, going towards righteousness, participate in God’s work and trust His provision) and Righteousness!

God bless you

Hi our friend

We hope you had a wonderful week!!

I love how God is using giftings and things you learned, in the context you are in. Last week I was able to help a newly married couple in the area of finances through the things I learned over the years. They were really blessed and I felt encouraged that I was able to help them. What gifting did God give you or what things did you learn that he could use to bless others? Think about it!!

We also hope you got inspired through todays Gospel Carrier Rachel Saint. Pray about and ask God if he calls you to a people group or tribe? If pray about how to get there!

Have a blessed week

Jesus most famous Sermon Part 11 Treasures

Today’s topic of Jesus most famous Sermon is about Treasures in Matthew 6.19-24. Be inspired!

Hello our friend

We hope you had a wonderful week!

Last weekend we were going to help with a neighborhood trash cleanup. When we arrived at the meeting spot none of the organizers was there, only a few volunteers. We all ended up in a really great conversation while waiting and during that noticed how many of the same people we knew and all the connections. It was one of those God moments where he connects people. It was wonderful. The team who was organizing the clean up never ended up coming. We think they might have not found parking cause of the North Beach street fair. So sometimes something that doesn’t work out as planned actually works out even better.

One reminder from the video at the end: Ask yourself where are your treasures and how can you personally store more treasures in heaven?

God bless you

Hi our friend

We hope you had a wonderful week!!

The world cup just started and 5 of the games will be played in the San Francisco area. People from all over the world are visiting which gives such a great opportunity to meet and get in conversation. I remember years ago how just by watching a world cup game with someone I got to encourage that person in a deep way.

We want to encourage you to use this opportunity to watch a game of another country with someone or a group from that country and celebrate with them. During those times some wonderful connections can be build and deeper conversations can happen.

We also hope you got inspired through todays Gospel Carrier Jacob DeShazer. Ask God if there are “enemies” that you still have to forgive and ask him to help you with it!

Have a blessed week

Hallo unser Freund

Gott segne Dich

Jesus most famous Sermon Part 10 Fasting

Today’s topic of Jesus most famous Sermon is Fasting in Matthew 6.16-18. Be inspired!

Hello our friend

We hope you had a wonderful week!

One of the days this week I went on a little adventure with Caleb. We rode a few local muni buses around town, hiked in Golden Gate park and walked along the beach. And just by being out and about we got to meet multiple people on the bus, in the park and on the beach. We want to encourage you to start conversations with people while you are outside. It’s a blessing and you bring often times a smile on someone’s face because they feel seen.

One reminder from the video at the end: We want to encourage you to read a book on fasting in the faith area and then set some time aside to fast. See the blessing in doing that!

God bless you

Markus, Jen and Caleb
