Here is the Love your neighbor monthly tip – Offer to water a neighbor’s plants or take care of fish while they are out of town

Why is it important?

When Jesus called us to love our neighbor, he gave us a task that is possible for each one of us and is also a blessing for each one of us. Many people around us might feel isolated or don’t feel a sense of belonging (maybe including us), and each one of us can bring change to that. You will see how loving your neighbor will change those things and also the relationships but also how it will give you a greater love for the people around you. It will leave a great impact and it builds a strong and lasting community for your neighbors and you as well to just name a few things. When I think back to last year and how the pandemic affected everyone around the world we saw more and more 1. the need of bringing God’s love to our local places and 2. How important it is to be connected with our neighbors. We got reminded of the call from Jesus also because our neighborhoods were the only places we could go to. So let’s all do this together starting today to take Jesus seriously and love our neighbor. We will give you a monthly tip with how to establish that relationship and love your neighbors in a practical way and then we will all put it into action with the neighbors right around us.  And then watch how over time your neighborhood will change! You, me, and all of us can do it so let’s do it!!

Our tip for this month is offer to water a neighbor’s plants or take care of fish while they are out of town! Watch the video with some tips on that!

A journey through the bible the book of Zechariah

2 more books to go! Yay!! And today we are reading about Zechariah. This book is pointing very strongly to Jesus the Messiah who they were waiting for. Be inspired!!

Hi our friend

We hope you had a wonderful week! Last week was special since we got special times with our neighbor community with a special brunch, our church community with a special guest leaders meeting and our YWAM Family and our worship time together. It is such a blessing to have those different communities. All of us need at least 2 of those a good church community and a wonderful neighbor community. To get those we have to make sure to give time to each of them and see them build and strengthen over time. Trust us you will be blessed!!

Also what spoke to you out of the book of Zechariah?

God bless you

A journey through the bible the book of Haggai

3 more books and you read through the whole bible!! Yay!! Today we are on the book of Haggai. God send that prophet when people lived in spiritual apathy. He was the first prophet that came to the post exilic community. A big part of his message was for repentance from apathy. May this book speak to you!

Hi our friend

We hope you had a wonderful Easter. What did you do for it?

Our Easter week here was full of wonderful times with people. If It was with a brunch, a Easter egg hunt with moms and children or our wonderful church service were I got to share part of my story (Markus), it was so wonderful to connect with so many individuals. People are the most important thing for God (like we see clearly on Easter) so let them be the most important thing (right after God) for us.

Also dont forget the video blog and Hagai and ask God this week if there is any apathy in your life and then give it to him and let him heal you in that area!!

God bless you

Stories to think about – Zechariah with a message of a humble King

Our story today is about Zechariah and a humble future King. May it be an encouragement to you!

Hi our friend

First we want to wish you a blessed Easter!! We hope you had some time this week to reflect on what Easter and the good news mean to you personally.

Last week Caleb had his birthday and it was a wonderful time. Jen got cupcakes to take to the park to celebrate with the Moms and children she build a community with in this last season. It’s a blessing for both sides. Where are you connecting with people? Have you had a chance to build a community with them?

In our Story to think about Zecheriah talked about a humble King. Lets ask ourself how we can live more humble like Jesus!

God bless you
