Celebrations are important even if they are delayed. This week we celebrated with a friend from the neighborhood his 90s birthday. It already happened a month ago but Jen and Caleb were sick at the time so we couldn’t celebrate on the day. So we delayed it but didn’t forget it. It was a wonderful time eating dinner together with him and celebrating 90 years of life. When you think of the Israelites you notice that they celebrate many different festivals. The festivals are reminders of Gods faithfulness in a specific instance. Since they celebrate them regularly, they get reminded over and over again. Lets start celebrating the faithfulness of God in our life by celebrating milestones and special moments and maybe some of the old Jewish festivals!
