How is your fall going? Summer in San Francisco (meaning September, October) is amazing. We had sunshine all week. That opened up the door for a social distance bbq with an older friend from the neighborhood. It was such a blessing for him and us. Its so important to stay connected with each other in this season. Loneliness, isolation and for some also depression affects many. But we can be part of the answer to change that. Try this week to go on a social distance walk with a neighbor if it is allowed in your area. You can be a true blessing!!

Also spend some time this week to look at how great our God is and let that help to let your faith rise!

We hope your week was amazing!! How is your summer going?

This week we had a picnic in the park with a small group we are having usually at our Apartment. We planned it for a while and thought we have to cancel because of the smoke. But then it was literally one of the few days this week where we could go outside because of the smoke. Also on Sunday I go out to pray and the forecast was smoke again but then Sunday arrived and I could go on my walk without much smoke at all. God is so awesome!! Please keep praying with us against the fires that they will be fully contained. Jen and I also had a wonderful date night where we ended up cooking together which was a lot of fun. Tell us about your week!

Read the story of the sower and the seed in Luke 8 and ask God and yourself honestly where you are at in your faith, at this point in your life. Its ok not being there yet, but let him bring you to the good soil!!

We hope your week was amazing!!

Ours was good here!! Last weekend we launched a series on our love your neighbor facebook l-y-n and instagram @loveyourneighborsf with tips on how to get started in loving your neighbor too!! It’s a topic each week with a video on Sunday and some written ideas, thoughts and encouragements on Wednesday and Friday We are excited to see what God will do through it. Make sure to start following either on facebook l-y-n or instagram @loveyourneighborsf to join us!! We also got to meet up with an older friend (our neighborhood grandpa this week which was really wonderful. Slowly we are able to reconnect with people off the screen which is a blessing. Next week we are excited to have a vacation. WE are both pretty tired like many of you and around us are too. We feel so blessed that we are able to do that and we are praying that God will open the door for you too to have vacation. One last one, even we are gone the blog will still be there with a new topic every week!! Be encouraged!

This blog is again about our topic of the year “I believe, help me in my unbelieve”. Be encouraged and inspired!!

Hi our friend

First of all we hope you had an awesome week!! May is almost over but there are still some days left to encourage people and bring the hope of Jesus!! Let us use any chance we get for this!!

We had a great week here in SF. It was warm and sunny for parts of it which is awesome!! Jen and I took some extended time to pray and spend time with God. Every time we have those extended times we ask ourselves why we don’t do it more often. The book club we started is so encouraging. Reading that book life of the beloved by Henri Nouwen together reminds us all of the love of God for us. Again I highly recommend you to read it too so you get reminded of how loved you are too!!

Don’t forget this week to ask God for the walls that hold you back in your life!!
